Dutch Courses
We offer high quality courses ranging from beginner to advanced conversation level. We teach the language by involving the culture, making our courses fun, interesting and lively. Our courses are adapted to the requirements of the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference). The CEFR describes the mastery of a foreign language in 6 levels:
Basic user: A1 initial level and A2 elementary level.
Independent user: B1 intermediate level and B2 upper intermediate level.
Skilled user: C1 advanced level and C2 upper level.
Dutch for beginners: Level A1.1
In this course you will learn how to formulate phrases and questions and how to have simple conversations, using basic vocabulary, grammar rules and the most commonly used verbs. This course takes thirty-two (36) hours under the guidance of the trainer and we recommend eighteen (18) hours of self-study.
Dutch for beginners: Level A1.2 (One step further)
This course leads to the completion of the A1 level of the CEFR. In this course, vocabulary and grammatical knowledge is expanded with the help of topics on Dutch culture, traditions and places of interest. This course takes thirty-six (36) hours under the guidance of the trainer and we recommend eighteen (18) hours of self-study.six
Dutch for beginners: Level A2.1
This course takes forty-two (42) hours under the guidance of the trainer and we recommend twenty (20) hours of self-study. On completion of this course the student will be able to understand sentences and frequently used expressions related to areas of expertise that are particularly relevant to him/her. He/she will be able to communicate when performing simple, everyday tasks that require no more than a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar or routine matters.
Dutch for beginners: Level A2.2
This course takes forty-two (42) hours under the guidance of the trainer and we recommend twenty (20) hours of self-study. On completion of this course the student will be able to understand sentences and frequently used expressions related to areas of expertise that are particularly relevant to him/her (basic information about himself/herself and his/her family, shopping, places of interest, professions, etc.). He/she is able to communicate when performing simple and everyday tasks that require no more than a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar or routine matters. He/she can describe in simple terms aspects of his/her background and environment as well as issues related to their immediate needs.
Dutch B1.1 intermediate level start
This course takes sixty (60) hours under the guidance of the trainer and we recommend thirty (30) hours of self-study. Upon completion of this level the student will be able to understand the main points of standard input on familiar matters regularly encountered in work, school, leisure, etc.. Understand radio and television programs dealing with current affairs of general interest. Understand correspondence, newspapers, advertisements, descriptions of events and general instructions.
Dutch B1.2 advanced intermediate level
This course takes sixty (60) hours directed by the trainer and we recommend thirty (30) hours of self-study. This course is the continuation of the B1.1 and leads to the completion of the CEFR B1 level.
